Say HI* to our Infra Test Engineer role

"The people we all rely on to keep the world running – they rely on Thales."

In a world that is evolving rapidly, becoming more unpredictable, and full of possibilities, people come to us with great ambitions: to make your life better and safer. Our employees, forming a uniquely diverse mix of expertise, talents, and cultures, develop and deliver extraordinary high-tech solutions. Of the 80,000 talents in 68 countries, 2,000 work in the Netherlands. We are one of the largest high-tech employers in the field of security and protection.

We help our customers think smarter and act faster in the fields of transportation, defense, aerospace, aviation technology, and cyberspace, enabling them to manage increasing complexity and handle every critical moment along the way. We play a leading role in digital transformation, focusing on artificial intelligence, big data & data analytics, connectivity, mobility, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity.

In the Netherlands, we have locations in four cities: Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven, and Hengelo (headquarters). Together with an extensive ecosystem of knowledge partners, customers, and suppliers, we work on radars for naval vessels, cybersecurity solutions, transport systems, communication equipment for ground forces, cryogenic cooling solutions, research & development in radar technology (in collaboration with TU Delft), and research & development in serious gaming (in collaboration with the University of Twente).

Within the Naval Engineering cluster, the Software Engineering department is responsible for developing Combat & Information Management Systems for naval ships and integrating them with sensor and weapon systems. These complex systems feature advanced solutions in information processing, information management, user interaction, and sensor & weapon control. Our software provides essential support for missions ranging from anti-piracy operations to defense against long-range missiles.
