Thales Huizen delivers a wide range of engineering solutions to the Land forces to support them in their communication- and situation awareness needs. We develop new business in order to deliver solutions that contribute to an ambitious project to offer our client end-end-end connectivity from large command posts to the tactical edge where no civilian communication means exists.
To meet this challenge, we are looking for a talented system engineer who, as a member of the Foxtrot System Engineering Team at Thales Huizen, is eager to contribute to the realization of this vision.
About the job:
Within the Foxtrot System Engineering Team, our primary responsibility will be to develop the operational user needs into an envisioned solution. Given the nature of the envisioned solution and systems, a multidisciplinary approach is essential to achieve the solution for the military that depends on it to accomplish their mission.
As a system engineer, you will balance the system requirements with the contributions of everyone involved with their realization.
Being part of our team means that you will be involved in various activities: there will be a moment to discuss your solutions with the customer engineers, and there will be time to define the interaction between our systems and other systems in- and outside the vehicle.
In this role you will need to:
Understand Context and Needs.
Contribute to the development of the architecture
Formalize requirements
Develop the System Specification and System Design, taking interfaces between the Thales (sub)systems and 3rd party systems into account.
Deliver system engineering artifacts SRS, IRS etc
Prepare for Integration and Verification
What you’ll bring:
Are you a diligent, creative, proactive worker with great communication skills in fluent Dutch and English? Then you might be the person we are looking for.
You have a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field.
You are a generalist with a keen interest in technology in the broadest sense.
Have proven experience in systems engineering.
You are able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
