About the job:

As a system administrator, your role is very varied. You will work with the team and the client to maintain the availability and IT security level of the platform and to improve efficiency. At the service desk and the NOC, you will interact with various colleagues throughout the organization and deal with a wide diversity of IT systems. Every day, you will learn something new and interact with your own team and other teams. Within the team, you will have the space to continuously improve the management and security aspects in terms of technology and processes, enriching the team with your knowledge and insights. Your initiatives to solve problems structurally, to communicate better, and to improve working methods are welcome. Your work locations are Stroe and Huizen.

  • Performing tasks for 2nd line IT system management with corrective and preventive maintenance in the production environment and test lab.

  • Executing validated Change Requests in the production environment.

  • Deploying regular security updates.

  • Being responsible for all security management processes.

  • Consulting, coordinating, and collaborating within the team to optimize knowledge sharing.

  • Registering questions and issues and resolving/answering them as much as possible directly.

  • Identifying and documenting structural issues.

  • Keeping (security) management documentation, processes, and procedures up to date and complete.

  • Independently identifying and realizing improvements.

  • Participating in an on-call rotation for 2nd line support outside office hours.

The team that designs and maintains system solutions for building and site security consists of approximately 30 engineers. The team's responsibilities range from consultancy, design, integration, deployment, to management. Within this team, we pursue a DevOps approach with the aim of stimulating interaction and collaboration between development and operations.

  • You have an HBO thinking level with an IT system management background.

  • You are used to working in an ITIL environment.

  • You have experience managing MS Windows Server 2012R2/2019, MS SQL 2016/2019, MS Windows 10, VMware 7 and higher, NSX, Veeam, RHEL 7-8, CentOS, Active Directory, DNS, MS-IAM; and is experienced in managing certificates and PKI infrastructure.

  • You have experience with tools such as WSUS, PowerShell, Ansible, JIRA.

  • You have knowledge and experience in using management and monitoring systems such as ServiceNow, HP Openview/OMI.

  • You have extensive experience managing HPE server hardware, workstations, SAN, and NAS.

  • You have an affinity with and knowledge of various relevant engineering disciplines (information security, software engineering, system & software testing, quality assurance) or are willing to acquire this knowledge.

  • Possesses analytical and conceptual skills.

  • You have Dutch nationality (due to security reasons) and can speak English fluently
