Say HI* to our System Engineer role

About the Job

As a PLM Consultant, you will join an enthusiastic and driven Agile squad. This squad operates independently and is responsible for the entire PLM domain. Your role as a PLM Consultant is highly varied: you will work on both the management and development of our applications. During the daily stand-up, you will discuss incidents and the planned work. This work consists of 'user stories,' which are prepared during refinement sessions. In these sessions, the user’s needs are interpreted and translated into optimal solutions. The actual implementation is done in collaboration with your squad members, maintaining close contact with the user throughout.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring that PLM applications are functioning optimally and are continuously available.

- Resolving incidents.

- Executing 'user stories' in close collaboration with the requester and possibly other squads.

- Identifying business needs and translating them into definitions and configurations by creating 'user epics/stories' (refinement).

- Continuously improving processes and practices within the Agile squad.

- Reflecting on the performance of yourself and your colleagues regarding the last sprint. You are expected to propose improvements to help your team excel (retrospective).

- Ensuring solid knowledge transfer and effective communication.

What you’ll bring

If you are a creative, open, analyitical, flexible team player with great communication skills in fluent Dutch and English, then you might be the person we are looking for.

- You have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree (HBO or WO).

- You have 5+ years of experience in managing and configuring PTC Windchill.

- You have a strong interest in both the technical and functional aspects of Windchill.

- You can program in PTC Windchill.

- You want to work in a department that has embraced Agile work methodologies and culture.

- You take initiative and stay informed about PLM developments.

What you’ll gain:

Wherever your passion lies, Thales can help you make the best use of your skills and creativity. As a contractor at Thales, you can expect to experience:

  • An interesting job within a team of experts in an international high-tech environment.

  • Room for and attention to personal development and personal initiative.

  • The opportunity to grow within the organization, whether in a technical, managerial, commercial or international capacity.

  • A flexible work environment with a focus on maintaining a good work-life balance.
