We are looking for a Sales Administration Specialist to join our Finance team, or more specifically, the Central Accounting team of 10 energetic and diverse people. The team is located in both Hengelo (HQ) and Huizen, but this position is based in Hengelo.
About the job:
The finance department consists of ~50 teammates organized in 4 different competence centers (clusters):
Central Accounting & Sales Administration;
Financial Engineering & Treasury;
Bid & Project, Industrial and Procurement Control;
Financial & Budgetary Control.
The Central Accounting team is responsible for general ledger management, tax, project administration, accounts payable and sales administration of Thales Nederland. The Sales Administration team consists of 3 people located in Hengelo and Huizen. The position we're offering is primarily based in Hengelo. As part of this team, you'll ensure the precision and effectiveness of our operations,process and monitor payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts. Also, you will create new projects.
Main activities:
Administration of projects in Oracle (ERP system).
Reconciliation of the receipts with the outstanding invoices.
Reconciliations of the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and properly posted. In addition, reconcile the intercompany balances with other Thales entities.
Manage the customer database, book order intake and budgets.
What you’ll bring:
Experience in the field of Account Receivables/Sales Administration
Education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
A ‘can-do’ mentality: flexible, open minded, innovative
You are an enthusiastic team player with good communication skills
Pre; knowledge of Oracle (ERP system) and affinity with IT
Fluent Dutch and good English language skills
