In this role, you will be part of the Thales Netherlands IS/IT team. IS/IT is at the core of Thales’ digital transformation; there is a close relationship between IS/IT and the business.

With a team of more than 150 colleagues, we provide IS/IT support to our 3,500 Dutch colleagues across various business lines and functions. The IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands works closely with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales group.

We are looking for an Application Administrator for the relatively new Collaboration Team. This team is responsible for a wide range of products and services related to collaboration. Your new team is also part of the Collaboration Tribe within the entire Thales group. The tribe is responsible for collaboration platforms within Thales.

Your work as a Technical Application Administrator in the Collaboration Team is varied. The day begins with a short stand-up meeting where we discuss ongoing tasks and how we can coordinate them. Within both the department and the team, we work according to the Agile way of working and the SCRUM framework. Throughout the week, you focus on the sprint that you and your team are working on.

As a domain expert, you are capable of translating business needs into working solutions. You play a role in implementing and managing collaboration products and ensuring successful implementation. Preferably, you have experience in environments where security and standardization are critical. You can develop solutions and turn them into deliverable products.

You and your team are responsible for the technical support and management of products such as:

• Microsoft Exchange

• Cisco IronPort

• OpenText (ECM)

• Atlassian Confluence

• Microsoft Teams

• VOIP telephony

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who

• Can quickly learn new domains and technologies

• Has strong communication skills in fluent English and Dutch

• Has experience with the Agile way of working and the SCRUM framework (or is open to learning it)

• Has a strong desire for continuous personal and technical development

It’s a plus if you also have:

• Relevant work experience (but young professionals are also encouraged to apply!)

• Experience in a complex enterprise IT environment

• Experience with enterprise migration projects
