Are you an experienced Financial Controller? Do you have experience in subsidy control? Then we are looking for you!

About the job:

As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for the whole planning and control cycle of the subsidies of Thales Nederland.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary financial contact for subsidies, both internally and externally.

  • Assess and evaluate new subsidy proposals.

  • Prepare and submit progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee the actual, forecast, and budget processes related to subsidies, including sales, costs, and cash flow.

  • Finalize subsidy projects in collaboration with the accountant.

  • Act as a sparring partner for project leaders.

What you’ll bring:

You are proactive and hands-on, with a passion for finance. You thrive in an informal and international environment. Naturally curious, you don’t hesitate to speak up and question existing processes. You have a strong ability to understand complex systems and can tackle projects independently while being a team player who enjoys contributing to improvement initiatives.

  •  You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance and about 3 - 5 years of work experience in subsidy control (preferable EU & NL subsidy projects)

  • You are skilled with MS Office and have affinity with IT/ERP systems (preferably Oracle).

  • You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Dutch.

What you’ll gain:

Wherever your passion lies, Thales can help you make the best use of your skills and creativity. As a contractor at Thales, you can expect to experience:

  • An interesting job within a team of experts in an international high-tech environment.

  • Room for and attention to personal development and personal initiative.
