About the Team
The “Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)” Agile squad ensures that our colleagues at Thales Netherlands are provided with PLM applications that properly support their processes. From our location in Hengelo, we provide support to the four Thales branches in the Netherlands.
About Your Future Job
As a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Application Administrator / Junior DEV/OPS Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the PLM systems and processes within the organization. Your main goal is to ensure seamless operation, integration, and continuous improvement of PLM tools and methodologies to support the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management: Maintain and manage PLM systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements within the PLM framework.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to users, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operation of PLM tools and applications.
Data Management: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of product data throughout its lifecycle, from creation to removal.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to PLM processes, system configurations, and best practices.

We’re looking for a new colleague who:
Has completed an MBO (secondary vocational education) program.
Has 3+ years of experience in application management.
Has experience with Linux, Windows, Oracle, networking, security, Ansible, Java, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
Can effectively schedule patches and other administrative tasks.
Is enthusiastic about helping people by resolving incidents.
Is service-oriented, flexible, communicative, and a team player.
Can listen well and ask follow-up questions, even when the message isn’t explicit.
Has strong analytical skills.
Wants to work in a department that embraces Agile work methods and culture.
Takes initiative and keeps up with developments.
Has a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
