This plan takes into account market developments, technological innovations, and changing customer needs. The focus is on Supply Chain optimization, cost reduction, increasing delivery reliability, and robust risk management within the logistics chain.

2. Short-Term Production Space ReleaseBy January 1, 2027, a portion of the logistics activities, including the physical flow of goods and administrative processing (ERP/WMS), will be outsourced. This will realize extra production capacity within the existing facility. The Project Manager is responsible for effective, timely implementation, securing a smooth transition, and ensuring the continuity of the logistics processes.

About the Job:

  • Coordinating the relocation of logistics activities to the external location, including transport, storage, and administrative handling.

  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing renewed logistics processes, both physical and administrative.

  • Setting up the new logistics location (from layout to furnishing and operational commissioning).

  • Ensuring optimal integration of new processes with existing production and administrative systems.

  • Performing process analyses, identifying bottlenecks, and potential for improvement within logistics processes.

  • Independently drawing up, documenting, and updating process descriptions and work instructions.

  • Performing data-driven analyses, both independently and with stakeholders, to substantiate project choices and decision-making.

  • Promoting support, effective communication, and change management within the organization.

  • Identifying and naming risks and bottlenecks, and timely providing appropriate solutions.

  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting progress and project results to clients and management.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or (technical) business administration.

  • Extensive experience as a project manager of complex logistics projects within a production environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of logistics processes, physical goods flows, administrative systems (ERP/WMS), automation, and warehouse mechanization.

  • Experience in realizing and setting up (new) logistics locations.

  • Excellent communication skills, a connector, and easily able to switch between various levels within the organization.

  • Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, systematic, stress-resistant, and data-driven.

  • Demonstrable experience in performing analyses and drawing up process descriptions and work instructions.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and possesses a hands-on mentality.
