Say HI* to our Industrialisation Manager Services role

The Industrial Services department (60 FTEs) is responsible for delivering various service products (Repairs, Overhauls, Service Parts & Assemblies, Modifications & Field Services). The department has two dedicated work cells for different product types and specializations and leverages the expertise and capacity of other Supply Chain departments as needed. Additionally, there is a Support Team that consolidates all support functions.

About the job

Your workweek will be varied and dynamic. You’ll collaborate with diverse internal customers and stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineering, Purchasing, and Work Cell Managers. As an Industrial Manager, you report directly to the Services Department Manager, with a strong focus on Safety and OTD (On-Time Delivery). You ensure that products are delivered according to the customer’s quality requirements and within the agreed cost budget.

You’ll be part of the department’s Management Team (MT), leading the setup of all supply chain activities for new service products or redesigns and modifications of existing ones.

As Industrial Manager Services, you will be the specialist for a group of products and will be responsible for elevating industrial projects to the right level and proposing operational solutions.

  • In the service life cycle phase, you play a key role in translating the service product strategy into the setup and implementation of an operational supply chain for various Thales radar systems.

  • During the design phase for Services, you design and establish the Supply Chain, ensuring that manufacturability and testability are integrated into the design to meet customer, quality, and cost requirements.

  • In the bid phase, you identify and mitigate production risks, provide input for product cost calculations, and prepare planning and delivery information for the Product Manager and Bid Team.

  • In the execution phase, you solve complex operational problems and manage a small functional team of experts (e.g., Manufacturing Engineer, Planner, Work Preparation, Test Engineer) to ensure professional execution of operational activities. You are responsible for achieving key production and testing milestones.

What you’ll bring

If you are a creative, open, flexible team player with great communication skills in fluent Dutch and English, then you might be the person we are looking for.
