The Industrial Services department (60 FTEs) is responsible for delivering various service products, including Repairs, Overhauls, Service Parts & Assemblies, Modifications, and Field Services. The department has two dedicated work cells for different product types and specializations and utilizes the expertise and capacity of other departments within the Supply Chain as needed. Additionally, there is a Support Team that houses all supporting functions.



About the Job

Your workweek will be diverse and dynamic. You will collaborate with various internal customers and stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineering, Purchasing, and Work Cell Managers. As an Industrial Manager, you will report directly to the Services department manager, with a strong focus on Safety and On-Time Delivery (OTD). You will ensure that products are delivered according to customer quality requirements and within the agreed cost budget.

You will be part of the department’s Management Team (MT) and take the lead in setting up all supply chain activities for new service products, as well as for redesigns and modifications of existing service products.

As an Industrial Manager Services, you will be a specialist for a group of products and will be responsible for bringing industrial projects to the right level while proposing operational solutions.

  • Service Life Cycle Phase: You will play a key role in translating the service product strategy into setting up and implementing an operational supply chain for various Thales radar systems.

  • Design Phase for Services: You will design and establish the Supply Chain, ensuring manufacturability and testability are considered to meet customer requirements, quality standards, and cost constraints.

  • Bid Phase: You will identify and mitigate production risks, provide input on product cost calculations, and prepare scheduling and lead-time information for the Product Manager & Bid Team.

  • Execution Phase: You will resolve complex issues and lead a small functional team of experts (e.g., Manufacturing Engineer, Planner, Work Preparation, Test Engineer) to ensure the professional execution of operational activities. You will be responsible for achieving key production and testing milestones.



Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Primary contact for all industrial activities related to service products.

  • Functional leadership of a multifunctional team.

  • Identifying and proactively resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Continuously improving logistics processes and delivery performance.

  • Contributing to the development of a LEAN mindset within the department.

  • Proactively communicating progress with various stakeholders.






What you’ll bring

Are you a pragmatic, result-oriented team player with great communication skills in fluent Dutch and English? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Industrial/Supply Chain Management or Technical Business Administration.

  • You have several years of experience in a management role.

  • You have knowledge of LEAN methodologies.

  • Preferably, you have experience working in a high-tech industrial environment.

  • APICS certification is a plus.
