Within Thales Netherlands, the Naval organization is responsible for the development, production, and support of radar, communication, and command & control systems for naval ships. Within the Supply Chain of the Naval organization, the Final Assembly department is responsible for delivering electronics for Thales systems.

As a Functional Electrical Inspector, you are responsible for testing, diagnosing faults, and ensuring the repair of electronic products. Your duties include drafting test procedures based on test specifications in consultation with the designer/system test engineer. You also implement changes to existing test procedures in consultation with the designer. Additionally, you instruct repair colleagues on corrective actions arising from the inspections performed. You are also responsible for reporting in the designated systems.

Working as a Functional Electrical Inspector involves a broad range of areas within electrical engineering, including:

• Power supplies

• Digital technology

• Analog technology

• Fiber optics

• High frequency (1–35 GHz)

• High power

• High voltage

You have an MBO-level education in electronics and experience or affinity with testing electronic products.

You see yourself as a true team player: energetic, eager to learn, stress-resistant, and structured, with an eye for detail.

You have good communication skills in fluent Dutch and English.

You also have good fine motor skills.

Knowledge of Basic/LabVIEW and RF is a plus.
