In this role, you will work in the IS/IT team of Thales Netherlands. IS/IT is the core of Thales' digital transformation, with a close relationship between IS/IT and the business.
With a team of 150+ colleagues, we provide IS/IT support to our Dutch colleagues in various Business Lines and functions. The IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands works closely with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales Group. Our Agile transformation journey began several years ago. As a learning organization, we fully embrace agile principles and strive for excellence through continuous improvement. We're not afraid to fail, as long as we can learn from it.
About the job
As a service desk employee, you'll ensure that end users, our internal customers, who experience problems are helped quickly. You'll do this within our End User Support squad. The people in this squad belong to first-line, second-line, or back-office support. For this position, we're looking for someone with experience who wants to handle requests and incidents within the first line. We expect you to eventually move to the second line, where you'll focus on more complex incidents.
The main responsibilities are:
· Being the point of contact for our end users for technical issues and resolving them, either independently or with the help of other members from your squad or another squad.
· Monitoring the tickets you've created and/or tickets registered in your name.
Supporting end users by phone and ticketing
Help keep our end-user knowledge base up-to-date.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a new colleague who:
Completed a level 4 vocational education (MBO) degree (ICT).
Has work experience at a service desk.
Can successfully resolve complex incidents.
Has knowledge of incident/service management systems. Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus.
A quick learner and easy to connect with.
