Within the Naval Industry Team in Hengelo, the GM200 Product Line is responsible for the assembly, system integration & testing, and delivery of the GM200 and NS100 radar systems to the customer.



About the Job

As a Technician within the GM200 Product Line department, you are responsible for assembling radar systems for naval use (the NS100) and mobile radar systems for the army (the GM200), in accordance with specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembling complex cabinets and antenna systems with both static and dynamic components

  • Mounting racks and other mechatronic modules

  • Installing wiring and cable bundles in equipment

  • Aligning devices

  • Participating in reviews and assessing new documentation packages for clarity and consistency

  • Taking responsibility for organizing assigned tasks

  • Proposing ideas to improve your own work

  • Handling first-line maintenance of applicable processes, machines, and tools.





What you’ll bring

  • Minimum MBO Level 3 education in Mechatronics or Electronics

  • Strong attention to detail that follows procedures but is also willing to improve them structurally

  • Capability of assembling both existing products and first-time builds in close collaboration

  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written in fluent Dutch and English

  • Teamwork
