Say HI* to our Quality Control technician role

The Support Team plays an important role within the Sensor, Racks & Cabinets department when it comes to the production and delivery of new Radar Systems. Quality control, production planning, technical work preparation, asset management, production engineering, and logistical support are the key functions that together make the Support Team a success.

About the Job

The Quality Technician (QT) supports the production departments. He/she is primarily responsible for ensuring that products are delivered to the (internal) customer according to specification. This is done through inspection (process, product, personnel, and documentation) and correction (process, personnel) to safeguard and guarantee quality. Additionally, the QT plays a preventive role, for example by conducting internal audits.

As a Quality Technician, you assess HSV, DIN, and ISO standards in the production environment, and create and manage checklists so that colleagues always work with the most up-to-date versions. You provide both solicited and unsolicited advice on the shop floor, regularly assess process progress, and offer constructive feedback through formal and informal communication channels. You also record rejections and deviations in products during production, plan and organize MRBs (Material Review Boards) for stakeholders, and support IGK in warehouse and inventory inspections. Furthermore, by participating in PRR (Production Readiness Reviews) and FAI (First Article Inspections), you are responsible for assessing quality risks in new systems, evaluating documentation, and ensuring the safety and practical feasibility of the routing.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Has completed a vocational education (MBO level 3/4), for example in mechatronics or electronics, or has equivalent experience;

  • Has knowledge of and experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100;

  • Has knowledge and experience with improvement methodologies such as Lean;

  • Has knowledge of product inspection and documentation management;
