Say HI* to our Configuration Controller role

Your week as a Configuration Controller within the Industry department is highly varied. You’ll interact with colleagues across the entire Industry organization at different levels, acting as a bridge between various departments. Together with your stakeholders, you’ll hold discussions in line with prescribed processes regarding configuration content, which you then implement in our systems and PLM tools.

About the job

As a specialist, you ensure that product configurations and those for (often complex) projects are properly managed. Other typical tasks include creating overviews, implementing changes, and participating in configuration management improvement initiatives.

We also believe it’s important that you have the opportunity to take both technical and personal development training. Working on improvement initiatives is strongly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all product configurations within the Industry department

• Create configuration overviews

• Handle and manage approved changes in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

• Deliver configuration documentation to internal customers and suppliers

• Support Configuration Managers (CMs) in complex or large system delivery projects

• Initiate repair and modification orders

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, varying greatly in complexity and clarity (from prototype to series production)

• Contribute to both internal and external improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring

• You have completed an MBO education (preferably in a technical field), or operate at that level

• Knowledge of PLM processes and CM tools is a plus

• You have an affinity with engineering disciplines (e.g., hardware/software/system/testing/service engineering)

• You enjoy working in an organized and structured way, and can guide others in doing the same

• You handle stress well and can switch quickly when necessary

• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
