Our expertise extends to seamless integration with sensor and weapon systems, alongside the creation of advanced sensor processing applications. Within the software engineering department, and more specifically for the CMS (Combat Management System) infrastructure team, we are in search of exceptional talent.  

 


About the job

As Application Automation Developer, you will develop in a multidisciplinary Agile team, that maintains, develops, and tests the infrastructure software platforms for combat management systems. These development teams are responsible for the entire development chain - from requirements analysis, development, maintenance, patching, integration, deployment, testing, validation, to demonstrating the current status of the product. Your role will be diverse, and flexibility is key.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing automation tools using Python and Ansible.

  • Writing and maintaining test automation code in Java, leveraging the Cucumber framework.

  • Ensuring high-quality code by adhering to best practices and performing code reviews.

  • Debugging and resolving technical issues, providing reliable and scalable automation solutions.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.





What you’ll bring

Are you an open, creative, enthusiastic problem-solver and team player with great communication skills in fluent English and Dutch? If yes, then you might be the person we are looking for.


  • You hold a bachelor or master degree in computer science, IT service management or comparable.

  • You have strong experience in Python and Ansible for automation development (5+ years).

  • You have proficiency in Java and experience with Cucumber for test automation.

  • You have a solid understanding of software development life cycles and automation frameworks: Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, Confluence.

  • You are able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
