Thales SIX is a part of Thales Netherlands and holds a leading position in highly qualified radio and network communication, command control for defense applications, and civil organizations. With approximately 200 employees, Thales SIX develops, produces, installs, and maintains both communication equipment and integrated communication systems from its Huizen location.

About the job:

• In this role, you are responsible for the design and the final electronic design of generally complex Electronic Circuit Boards (PCBA).

• You will translate the provided architecture into an electronic schematic with the Bill of Materials (BOM) as well as all necessary documentation.

• The board layout is handled by layout specialists and is not part of your duties. You will need to validate and release the final design through simulations and testing. An extensive lab with necessary measuring instruments is available for this purpose.

What you’ll bring:

• You hold an HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) or higher.

• You have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role, having completed multiple full PCBA design projects.

• You have experience in designing PCBAs with high-speed signals and interfaces.

• You have demonstrable experience with Signal Integrity simulation and realization.

• Experience with designing for EMC.
