Within Engineering, the Engineering delivery team accounts for all engineering activities for the development of our Radar and/or Mission System products and solutions: concept definition, system design, development, system integration, verification, validation and qualification. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Work Package Manager.
About the job
As a Work Package Manager, you are responsible for coordinating internal teams to execute a work package and ensuring all activities are completed to meet the project's technical, industrial, and financial goals while satisfying both the Project Manager's and customers' needs. Your primary responsibilities include delivering the work package on time, within the agreed budget, and at the defined quality. Key tasks involve planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the approved scope, budget, and timeline; effectively monitoring and presenting updates to stakeholders, clients, or project team members; and coaching and supporting project team members with their assigned tasks.
What you’ll bring
Proven experience in managing complex projects and coordinating various technical activities.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with significant project management experience.
Strong leadership skills, recognized as a self-motivated leader who engages and develops teams through collaborative and innovative approaches.
Analytical, dynamic, and capable of working autonomously.
Expertise in planning, organizing teams, and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, adhering to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards, while managing risks and identifying opportunities.
Knowledge and experience in subcontract and work package management (IPMA-C or D certification is a plus).
Ability to produce clear, concise, and high-quality reports.
Competence in financial management, workload planning, and risk management.
Familiarity with bidding processes is an advantage.
