APRU Racks & Cabinets is part of our Industry department at Thales Hengelo and consists of a team of 55 enthusiastic employees. Together, they ensure that various racks, cabinets, optronics systems, and panels are carefully assembled and tested.
About the job
Are you meticulous and have an eye for detail? We are looking for an enthusiastic employee with an affinity for precision engineering to join our team. As a manufacturing operator, you will ensure that panels are securely and neatly bonded according to the required quality standards.
Precision soldering of components.
Riveting of small mechanical parts.
Cementing and sealing of products.
Gluing of products with high quality standards.
What makes this position so interesting?
You will work on advanced, technically sophisticated products specifically developed for various radar systems. This makes the work highly varied, as you will manufacture panels and components for different projects, each with their own challenges and specifications. No two days are the same, and you will be directly involved in innovative technological developments. You are an indispensable link in the production process where precision, quality, and variety are key.
What you’ll bring
If you are sociable, enterprising, and practical, and possess the following competencies, then we are looking for you.
You have experience with (fine) assembly work.
You work accurately and have good motor skills.
Technical insight is a plus.
You enjoy working in a team but can also work well independently.
