Within the Naval Industry Team in Hengelo, the Product Line GM200 is responsible for the Assembly, System Integration & Testing, and customer delivery of the GM200 and NS100 radar systems.



About the job

As an Assembly Team Leader within the Product Line GM200 department, you will be responsible for guiding and managing your team (approximately 6-7 FTE). You will be partly in charge, including a daily stand-up and a daily 5S round, and partly in collaboration.

  • Guiding and managing your team to ensure that planned and agreed delivery dates are met.

  • Participating in daily stand-ups, both within your own team and with other team leaders and supporting departments.

  • Promoting and supporting 5S.

  • Collaborating with technical work planners to achieve improvements in delivered quality and efficiency.

  • Aligning equipment.

  • Participates in reviews and assesses new documentation packages for clarity and consistency.

  • Is responsible for organizing their assigned activities.

  • Provides ideas for improving their own work.

  • Is responsible for first-line maintenance of applicable processes/machines/tools.




What you’ll bring

  • Minimum MBO level 4 degree in the field of Mechatronics, Electronics.

  • Knowledge of production processes in the automotive industry is a plus.

  • You have an eye for detail;

  • Strives for structural solutions;

  • Is procedurally oriented, yet willing to structurally improve established procedures;

  • Able to assemble existing products, but also for first-time users in close consultation with [the customer/customer/customer].

  • Expresses themselves well, both verbally and in writing in fluent English and Dutch.

  • Remain calm and polite in stressful situations or conflicting interests, but also assertive;

  • Finds collaboration important
