Say HI* to our Project Management Office Management role.
In this role, you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO), which is responsible for supporting various disciplines within Thales.
In this role, the focus will specifically be on creating and monitoring the project baseline and associated schedules, risk and opportunity management, and preparing/analyzing various periodic internal and external progress reports to optimally support the project managers of a large and challenging program for the Ministry of Defense.
About the job
You will assist the Sales Managers and Project Managers in the following key activities:
Creating and monitoring risk and opportunity analyses and their management;
Independently preparing and guiding proposals and contract extensions/changes;
Administering documents such as offers, cost calculations, and plans;
Creating/coordinating schedules including workload management and managing labor budgets for the project and underlying work packages;
Initiating and guiding improvement actions and projects to optimize project execution;
Providing various periodic internal (towards management) and external (towards the customer) progress reports.
Depending on your own interests and competencies, as well as the needs within the project organization, you may be involved in various tasks and there is also room to independently manage (sub)projects.
What you’ll bring
If you are a great team player with good interpersonal skills; if you are proactive, accurate, analytical, and solution-oriented; and if you have great communication skills in English and Dutch — then we are looking for you.
You have experience as a PMO planner or project manager in a complex organization.
You have experience with project planning and scheduling in a planning tool (e.g., Primavera).
