About the Job

As a Product Owner, you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, development, and validation of Command & Control system applications. You serve as the link between the (internal) customer and their requirements, the product roadmap, the product system architecture, and the Agile/Scrum software development team. You also manage the Product Backlog for the development of Command & Control system infrastructure and guide the relevant Agile/Scrum team(s).

Your responsibilities will include discussing operational requirements with (internal) customers, designing and formally documenting the functional operation of the product or component, and presenting the final solution.

About You

Do you have a passion for technology and would you enjoy working on high-tech Naval Command & Control systems? Then you might be the person we're looking for. You are driven, results-oriented, proactive, and focused on achieving results through effective collaboration.

  • You have a completed university of applied sciences (HBO) or academic (WO) degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably with several years of experience in a Systems Engineering role.

  • You have knowledge and experience with Scrum and Agile principles, and an affinity for project management.

  • You have strong communication skills and experience in leading, facilitating, motivating, and coaching multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum team(s).

  • You are capable of building strong working relationships with stakeholders such as the Project and Product Manager.

  • You can translate operational product requirements into and describe them as a functional design for a product or component.

  • Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written, is essential for this role.
