Say HI* to our Quality Control technician role

The Support Team plays a crucial role within the Sensor, Racks & Cabinets department in the production and delivery of new radar systems. Key functions such as quality control, production planning, technical work preparation, asset management, production engineering, and logistical support combine to make the Support Team successful.

About the job

As a Quality Technician (QT), you will support the production departments. Your core responsibility is ensuring that products are delivered to (internal) customers in compliance with specifications. You achieve this by conducting inspections (of processes, products, personnel, and documentation) and making corrections (to processes or personnel) to maintain and guarantee quality. Additionally, you play a preventive role, such as conducting internal audits.

In this position you are going to:

  • Review HSV, DIN, and ISO standards in the production environment.

  • Create and maintain checklists to ensure colleagues always work with the latest versions.

  • Provide solicited and unsolicited advice on the shop floor, monitor process progress, and give constructive feedback through formal and informal meetings.

  • Register rejections and product deviations during production.

  • Plan and organize MRB (Material Review Board) sessions for stakeholders.

  • Support IGK (Inspection Goods Control) by inspecting warehouses and inventories.

  • Participate in PRR (Production Readiness Reviews) and FAI (First Article Inspections) to assess quality risks for new systems, review documentation, and ensure safety and practical feasibility of routing.

What you’ll bring

If you are a creative, open, flexible team player with great communication skills in fluent Dutch and English, then you might be the person we are looking for.

  • You hold an MBO level 3/4 degree, such as in Mechatronics or Electronics, or have gained equivalent experience.

  • You have knowledge of and experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.

  • You are familiar with improvement methodologies like Lean.

  • You have expertise in Product Inspection and Documentation Management.
