About the job:


Medium level software integrator and DevOps engineer as part of the F126 FuWES Training & Simulation software team (about 20 engineers in total). 

On a regular basis we have to integrate the Maestro software (simulation environment) in the Tardis software (simulation platform and related services). This integrated package needs to be handed over to the other FuWES software teams for further integration by them (Gun, Missile, Surveillance, …). 

Besides common Agile working experience (including release train, CI/CD, DevOps knowhow), you need to be familiar with the specific tooling and environments used in F126 FuWES.

Knowledge of C++ and JAVA is a plus.

Please note: This is an infrastructure and integration role focused on CI/CD pipelines and software handovers; it is not a software development position and does not involve feature coding.

What you’ll bring:


Essential Skills
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Proficiency with Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and Git/GitLab/Bitbucket.

  • Systems & Environment: Strong Linux (specifically RHEL8) and containerization experience using Podman.

  • Scripting: Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation and integration tasks.

  • Software Integration: Experience merging complex software packages and managing handovers within a team.

  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in Scrum or Scaled Agile environments using Jira/Confluence.


Desirable Skills
  • Programming: Knowledge of JAVA and C++.

  • Specialized Domain: Familiarity with MÄK software or simulation platforms.

  • Internal Tooling: Previous experience with Thales Test Systems.

  • Documentation: Proven ability to create technical documentation and provide debugging support.
