About the TeamWithin the MEE (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering) department, the Electrical Design team is responsible for the design and integration of all electrical subsystems that constitute a radar or combat management system. The products we design are used worldwide to build a future we can all rely on.
Developing these systems requires a multidisciplinary approach using state-of-the-art technology, initiative, and teamwork. Our products operate and are maintained under extreme conditions, requiring us to look further and push the technical limits of components to meet these challenges.
Despite being a large organization, we haven't lost our personal touch. We offer a fun working environment, great colleagues, and high flexibility.
About Your Future JobTogether with multidisciplinary (lead) engineers, you will form the electrical backbone of one of our product groups. You will design and integrate subsystems and create electrical models used throughout our entire organization—from specification and production to testing, integration, and customer documentation.
As an Engineer, you are involved from start to finish to ensure our products meet high standards. We primarily work in Eplan in conjunction with our PLM system, Windchill. You will help select the components used in our products, supported by technical experts who provide guidance in defining our systems. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes and tools to ensure maximum efficiency.
On a typical day, you will:
Design electrical schematics in Eplan.
Consult with your Lead Engineer regarding requirements.
Archive schematics and Bills of Materials (BOM) in our PLM system.
Manage your own schedule and support colleagues in meeting product deadlines.
We are looking for a new colleague who:
Holds a degree (MBO-4, HBO, or WO/University) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Has recent experience as an electrical engineer and proficiency with Eplan.
Can translate broad requirements and international (safety) standards into high-quality designs.
Balances perfection with pace; you deliver on time and within budget.
Is motivated to make the world better by building superior products.
Values teamwork and takes initiative naturally.
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain a Dutch security clearance.
Availability: Full-time presence in Hengelo is required for the first 4 weeks; thereafter, 3 days per week on-site.
A challenging role in a great team within a high-tech, innovative environment, with plenty of room for initiative and ideas.
Opportunities for personal and professional growth, whether technical, commercial, or international.
Valuable international collaboration with colleagues from 68 countries.
A comfortable, modern workspace with a focus on flexibility and work-life balance.
Hybrid Work: We have implemented hybrid working, allowing you to work where and when it suits your efficiency best.
